Lucas has been in the commercial real estate appraisal industry since 2007 where he started as an appraisal trainee in Oregon. His experience in appraising numerous asset types from retail shopping centers to self-storage facilities to full-service hotels has helped provide a balanced understanding of valuation methodologies. He transitioned to appraisal technology in 2010 where he spent six years building out the full valuation platform for Colliers International Valuation and Advisory Services from the ground up. In 2016, he co-founded Valcre to provide an innovative appraisal technology platform for the commercial real estate industry
